Cabin Fun Part 2

Earlier this month, we got to go to my parents cabin in Ashton for a couple days.  It was another fun filled time.

The first night, it was just us.  My parents didn't get there until Saturday morning, so we mainly just hung out. . .

Did puzzles. . .

Smiled for the camera. . .

And looked at the stars. . .
Peek -a- boo Tora!

The next day was beautiful!  So warm and sunny!  Perfect for some sledding. . .

And Adam and I had our first adventure with our new cross country skis. . .

After Adam and I had our skiing mini-date, the girls wanted to sled again.  But the sled was unhooked from the snowmobile this time so they would just get a good push and off they'd go down the hill.

Which is all great fun, until you have to walk back up the hill.  They did that a couple times until no one wanted to pull Tora up the hill.  Let's just say that after Grandma rescued them, they waited until they could catch a ride back up with the snowmobile!

Now these pictures crack me up.  This is what I call real horsepower!  Grandma claimed it was easier than walking upright!

Except I think we nearly killed the horse:

Adam playing around with his horsepower.  And yes, Adam's in long johns and shorts with a hoodie and googles.  He has an eye for fashion!

 Aaahh!  Too close!

Then my dad decided to take a turn on the snowmobile and took Adam for a little joy ride.

Thanks Mom and Dad for the weekend!  Maybe we'll have to sneak up there again before the snow's all gone!

We had fun too!! The horse is still winded though - may take until next year to get it back together - that is a long hill!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
