Our Belgium Family

Meet Bart and Anneleen, part of our family from Belgium. Adam's family has known Anneleen's family for many years now and we just love them to pieces! Bart and Anneleen are on their honeymoon, and we're excited that they came to visit America! Yesterday, they came over and we got to spend some quality time with them.

After we ate dinner and chit-chatted a bit, we played a few rousing games of Wii. Adam and I were getting quite the kick out of these three playing! (The extra is Kaden, Adam's little brother)

Ah, good times.

Bart and Anneleen - we'll miss you two when you leave! It's been great having you here! Next time, we'll have to visit Belgium!

Tora's Mini Birthday Party

My awesome sister in law of ChubbyHubbyCakes made this adorable cake for Tora. It was so cute and so yummy!

This last picture makes me giggle. Tora's been into this weird tongue resting on her lips thing lately. And here's Adam doing his best impression. You can definitely see the family resemblance now huh?? :)

TaVaci

At the first of this year, Adam and I signed up Adalyn and Mieley for TaVaci: School of Performing Arts. Because of how young they are, Adalyn and Mieley's group pretty much just sings and does a lot of cute actions to all the songs. This past Saturday was their Spring concert. It was so fun to watch them. Adalyn did really good singing all the words, and Mieley has the funnest facial expression you ever did see. We are so proud of them and the awesome job they did.

Here's all the kids that are in the "A's & B's - Tiny-Tunes" class. This is anywhere from preschool up to 1st grade. Can you find my kiddos?

Sunday Best

This girl is growing up too fast!

Yellowstone, Revisted

Before Adam got his cast off, we made a speedy trip up to Yellowstone. Basically the only road open at the time was the one to Old Faithful, but we made the trip anyways.

The nice thing about going during early spring is you get to see so much more animal life. There were buffalo all over the place this time.



I bet he could win hands down in a staring contest.

Mieley was thrilled with them. She probably would of jumped out and rode one if we would of let her.

Adalyn was a little less thrilled.


After making it through the furry crowds, we arrived to the notorious "Old Faithfully Gowser" as Adalyn kept calling it.

Adalyn was much more excited about this.

For anyone that doesn't know, Adam currently took on a new adventure in Yellowstone. He now delivers bread up through the park. He's doing that on top of everything else he already does. (I swear he has about 14 different jobs now.) Adam is the ultimate busy body. So I'm sure the girls and I will get to see Yellowstone many times this summer when we go and visit daddy.

A Tale Updated

Adam was able to get his cast off, but his foot is still very much broken. The Dr. put him in a walking boot and told him that if it's not getting better in another month, then it's time for surgery. Adam can hardly work with the boot on, so he's just been wrapping his foot and hi-ho, hi-ho, (limping) off to work he goes.

Before this is all over I just might give a few people a boot of my own:

Mostly that's for a certain unnamed insurance company.
Heh, heh.

I'll just be glad when this ordeal is all over with. (As I'm sure Adam will be even more than me!)
